AA Personal Membership

AA, Ireland’s leading motoring organisation, has over 400,000 members who enjoy motoring peace of mind 24 hours a day, 365 days a year in Ireland and the UK.

AA Membership is personal to you, the member. It covers you whether driving or are a passenger in any car, because you are the person covered not your car.

Why Join?

Rescue Assistance is just a freefone call away. Last year we handled over 147,000 rescues. Our policy of ‘Go-not-Tow’ ensures that 80% of faults are repaired on the spot, getting our members on the move again. There are over 80 AA Patrols in Ireland and service is supported by nearly 270 garage agents.

Whether you need assistance in Ireland or the UK your call is handled by our Rescue Centre in Dublin and our staff will ensure that your problem is resolved as quickly as possible.

It’s the minor problems that cause the major headaches and some examples of the calls we receive everyday are :

AA MEMBERSHIP Cover automatically entitles you to avail of our Road Rescue Service. This includes a tow to a local AA approved garage or dealer, if your vehicle cannot be repaired at the roadside. Travelling long distances across the country? We suggest the addition of Rescue Plus.

Home Start €44

Roadside Rescue looks after you on the open road.
With the addition of Home Start, you have all the benefits of Road Rescue right on your doorstep. This is an optional extra service.

Rescue Plus €65

Rescue Plus is our Premium AA Cover which ensures you will not be stranded anywhere in Ireland or the UK.
If your car cannot be repaired within a reasonable period of time, you can choose from one of the following:

Replacement car for up to 48 hours
or Overnight accommodation for up to 5 people
or Refund on alternative public transport expenses up to €200
& recovery of your unrepaired vehicle to any single location in Ireland

Associate Membership €44 per person

You can extend the benefits of your AA Cover for up to three other members of your family living in the same household as you the member.
This may include one other adult and/or your dependents under 25 years of age.
