Since 1912, the AA has been providing road signage on Irish roads. The AA is the leading signs provider of temporary directional road signs for festivals, exhibitions and events nationwide.

In 2006 we provided over 6,500 AA Signs for over 230 events. On confirming event details, we produce signs using the instantly recognisable AA yellow & black signs format.

Our traffic management plan is reviewed to select the best location for signs, in order to gain maximum coverage and minimise traffic delays to visitors.

Our dedicated Signs team then erect all directional signs promptly to ensure that visitors reach their destination with ease.

• A minimum of 20 signs may be printed for any one booking. However a maximum of 10 is only permitted in the DunLaoghaire/Rathdown County Council area.
• In accordance with the County Councils it is not permitted to use dates, days, months, times, brand names or logos on signs
• In certain circumstances it may be requested that you obtain permission from the County Council to erect directional signs.
• Please note that it is an offence to tamper with AA Directional Signs. Any tampering will result in a direct fine of up to 400
• Text on AA Signs is limited to 14 characters across, including spaces, and 4 lines down - however we recommend that you keep your text to a minimum to ensure greater exposure of your event/exhibition to drivers.
• Please ensure that you give at least 2 weeks notice to AA Signs Department for events/exhibitions requiring directional signage for administration purposes
